    Description

    Intermediate Project Manager

    Location: Providence, Rhode Island

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate stakeholder engagement initiatives, meetings, and outreach activities supporting healthcare transformation programs.
    • Manage advisory council operations, including meeting logistics, agendas, materials, attendance tracking, and follow-up actions.
    • Support statewide, regional, and community engagement events, including planning, coordination, and execution.
    • Maintain engagement calendars, event registries, outreach trackers, and stakeholder communication records.
    • Collaborate with community partners, healthcare providers, government agencies, municipalities, and other key stakeholders.
    • Track project milestones, action items, decisions, and partner commitments to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
    • Coordinate meeting materials, briefing documents, presentations, speaker schedules, and internal preparation sessions.
    • Support public-facing communications by ensuring materials meet accessibility, language access, and plain-language standards.
    • Maintain stakeholder databases, contact lists, and engagement history records.
    • Prepare documentation and reports for leadership, regulatory agencies, public reporting, and program accountability requirements.
    • Monitor project timelines, risks, and dependencies, providing regular status updates to leadership.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Public Health, Communications, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, community outreach, healthcare, public health, human services, or government programs.
    • Experience coordinating meetings, events, advisory councils, or multi-stakeholder initiatives.
    • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously.
    • Experience preparing reports, presentations, and meeting materials.
    • Proficiency with project tracking, scheduling, and stakeholder management tools.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management training.
    • Experience supporting healthcare transformation, public health, Medicaid, or human services initiatives.
    • Familiarity with community engagement strategies, health equity initiatives, and stakeholder outreach programs.
    • Experience working with government agencies, community-based organizations, or healthcare providers.
    • Knowledge of public meeting facilitation, accessibility standards, and stakeholder engagement best practices.
    • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and complex multi-partner projects.

    Position Summary

    This role serves as the operational lead for stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring meetings are coordinated, partners remain informed and engaged, deliverables are completed on schedule, and communication flows effectively across all participating organizations and stakeholders.
