Medicaid Project Manager-RHTP
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Lead the project management and operational implementation of all Medicaid RHTP funded projects to ensure they meet Medicaid strategic objectives.
Manage the operational and business work flows and tasks in support of the Medicaid RHTP Project Sustainability Plan.
Responsible for the development and implementation of system and business processes need to implement Medicaid funded RHTP projects
Responsible for all operations including anticipated operational risks and mitigation strategy to ensure compliance with state and federal rules and regulations.
Responsible for effectively managing Medicaid priorities and the escalation of issues and key decisions points as needed and as appropriate to Medicaid leadership.
Participate in the stakeholder engagement process and collaboration with CMS, state agencies, and stakeholders
Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports.
Minimum Requirements
Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
8+ years of experience working in government funded programs such as Medicaid or other public-sector healthcare programs.
Experience in project management, business analytics, and organizational readiness.
Experience with managing complex, cross functional projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to manage complex projects and work across multiple agencies.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree (MPH, MPA, or related field).
Project Management Certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master, and/or Lean Six Sigma.
Knowledge of Medicaid Program
Experience supporting healthcare transformation or grant-funded initiatives.
