Description

The Project Manager - Life-Science Projects- Raleigh will be responsible for:

• • Manage commercial construction projects through all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively resolve schedule, cost, and quality challenges.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee contracts, change orders, procurement activities, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and project requirements.
  • Manage project financials, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Support project closeout activities and ensure a seamless turnover to the client.

Profile

The Project Manager - Life-Science Projects- Raleigh should have:

• • Proven experience managing commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Ability to lead project teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience managing project financial performance and risk mitigation.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Job Offer

Requirements 5+ years of construction Project Manager experience with a general contractor is required Experience on ground-up education, healthcare, and/or commercial construction projects is required Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or relevant degree preferred Applicable Project Management Software experience preferred Developed thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project success Maintains good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with anyone from clients to subcontractors Must be a business-oriented person and act professionally when representing the employer at any level Local to Charlotte preferred, though relocators will be considered
