Our client is a growing Owner's Project Management (OPM) firm seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a rapidly expanding portfolio of Life Science and laboratory construction projects throughout the Greater Boston market. This individual will work closely with company principals, oversee complex projects from planning through execution, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Description

  • Manage multiple Life Science and laboratory projects throughout Greater Boston from inception through completion
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and risk management initiatives
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and senior leadership
  • Coordinate design, permitting, procurement, and construction activities to ensure project milestones are achieved
  • Review contractor proposals, change orders, schedules, and project documentation
  • Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office to manage project reporting and communication
  • Support business growth efforts through exceptional client service and relationship management

Profile

A successful Project Manager - Life Sciences should have:

  • 8+ years of construction project management experience
  • Previous experience working for a General Contractor (GC), Construction Manager (CM), or Owner's Project Management firm
  • Strong laboratory, Life Science, or cGMP project experience is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline preferred
  • Proven track record managing complex commercial construction projects
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
  • Must be able to commute to Cambridge, MA on a full-time basis
