Project Manager - Life Sciences - Boxborough, MA

• Lead commercial construction projects through all phases from planning and procurement through turnover and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.
• Partner with field teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents to support successful project execution.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, buyout, negotiation, and contract administration activities.
• Monitor project costs, identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain project objectives.
• Oversee change orders, RFIs, submittals, and overall project documentation.
• Lead project meetings and communicate progress updates with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards, quality expectations, and operational procedures.
• Support business development efforts by building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Mentor and collaborate with Assistant Project Managers and project support personnel.

A Successful Project Manager should have:

• Experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and forecasting.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, consultants, and client relationships effectively.
• Experience reviewing construction documents, contracts, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with construction management software, preferably Procore.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in life sciences, healthcare, tenant interiors, renovations, or commercial construction is preferred
