Juneau Construction Company is seeking a Project Manager for our growing Miami FL team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a collaborative team setting as a strong leader amongst diverse teammates and will be able to maintain primary oversight and accountability for the daily Project Management functions alongside Operations and Project Leadership.General DescriptionThe Project Managers primary focus is to provide excellent management administrative skills and support necessary to contribute to the overall success of Juneaus projects in the Southeast United States.Position QualificationsB.S. in Construction Management or related engineering disciplineLEED AP preferred3-5 years of experience in similar market segmentsProject management experience on projects 50 million in contract valueManagement level communication and leadership skills requiredDuties and ResponsibilitiesKey participant in the preconstruction process including budgeting scheduling bids presentations etc.Review the content of the Owner Agreement for executive execution. Provide feedback to Risk Management and Project Director during contract negotiations.Design manage and update the project schedule working with other team members.Key participant andor manager of purchasing on individual projects.Day-to-day management of construction budget.Manage a timely and comprehensive Owner billing process.Manage subcontractors payment application process and content.Analyze and evaluate PCOs from subcontractors and vendors.Examine Contract Documents for completeness deficiencies constructability code compliance etc.Manage all subcontract and purchase order agreements from award to close-out.Ensure that the field staff is provided with all of the tools necessary to execute the project in the field i.e. budget contracts qualified subcontractors timely purchasing etc..Represent Juneau to our clients during OAC meetings. Ensure that a comprehensive report of all cost schedules quality and any other construction related issue is provided via Project Status Reports.Respond to design team and consultants in a timely manner. Ensure all reports are responded to and closed out in a timely manner.Direct train supervise and manage all Project Engineering functions RFIs Submittals Document Control etc..Direct supervise and manage the execution of a timely precise and complete close-out process.Systems Knowledge RequirementsExperience with traditional construction industry software similar to the followingProcore accounting softwareExcel & Procore based cost projection systemPrimavera P6 Scheduling softwareComputerized estimating systemsProcore document controlDrone DeployMS TeamsElevateP-Vault electronic invoicingBlue Beam editing softwareBuilding ConnectedProcore Subcontractor SolicitationPrequalificationBIM 360 Glue working knowledgeJob ExpectationsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Position will work on-site with exposure to various weather conditions and may require regional travel between applicable Juneau Construction Company locations and jobsites.
