Job Description

Project Manager - Multifamily Construction

Lead large-scale multifamily projects valued at $60M-$80M.

Earn a strong base plus significant project milestone bonuses.

Our client is an established general contractor specializing in large-scale multifamily construction, including market-rate apartments, student housing, and senior living developments. The business offers a collaborative environment where project teams remain together throughout the build, supported by dedicated accounting and scheduling resources. With a strong emphasis on employee retention and internal advancement, this is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Project Manager looking for stability, autonomy, and a path toward project executive leadership.

As the Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of major multifamily construction projects while reporting into a Project Executive and partnering closely with field leadership.

  • Manage multifamily projects typically valued between $60M and $80M from preconstruction through closeout
  • Own project financials, including budgets, forecasting, cost controls, change management, and overall profitability
  • Lead and develop a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager assigned to your project
  • Partner with Superintendent and field teams to maintain schedules, milestones, quality, and safety expectations
  • Manage owner, subcontractor, design-team, and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify project risks early and implement solutions that protect schedule and budget
  • Travel approximately 30-40% based on project needs while managing one major project at a time

  • Ability to clearly articulate your direct responsibility for project financial performance
  • Demonstrated employment stability and a track record of seeing projects through key milestones
