Description

Spatial Front, Inc. (SFI), a two-time USAToday Top Workplaces awardee and Washington Top Workplaces honoree, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a modernization initiative within the FDA's Office of Inspections and Investigations (OII). This effort will involve managing multiple concurrent vendor engagements, requiring coordinated execution to ensure successful integration. The end result will be the delivery of a unified AI/ML-enabled Risk Management Platform.

The ideal candidate will be able to coordinate and integrate efforts across multiple vendor teams; provide executive-level visibility into program status, risks, and issues; ensure alignment of technical approaches and deliverables; facilitate resolution of cross-vendor dependencies and conflicts; and maintain program schedule integrity and milestone achievement.

Work Location: Hybrid (primarily remote, with periodic visits/meeting in White Oak, MD)

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end program management and oversight across multiple vendors and FDA stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), including milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables
  • Coordinate Agile planning and execution activities, including PI planning, sprint planning, release management, and cross-vendor alignment
  • Manage technical integration efforts across AI/ML platforms, data migration, user interfaces, data sources, and existing FDA systems
  • Facilitate program governance, executive reporting, stakeholder communications, and leadership briefings
  • Identify, track, and mitigate program risks, issues, dependencies, and resource conflicts through resolution and closure
  • Coordinate testing, quality assurance, defect remediation, and deliverable review and acceptance activities across vendor teams
  • Ensure compliance with FDA policies, EPLC and CPIC requirements, security/privacy standards, and FedRAMP regulations.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • 10+ years of project management experience
  • Minimum 5 years managing complex, multi-vendor IT Programs
  • Demonstrated Agile/Scrum methodologies experience
  • Experience with Earned-Value Management (EVM)
  • Proficiency with Program Management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, etc.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience with AI/ML platform implementations
  • Experience with FDA of Federal Government programs preferred
  • Experience with FedRAMP and federal security requirements preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) strongly preferred
  • Program Management Professional (PgMP) a plus

Additional Information:

  • Clearance: Must have current US work authorization and be able to qualify for / pass a Public Trust clearance
  • Work Environment: Hybrid (primarily remote, with periodic visits/meeting in White Oak, MD)
  • This is a full-time, W2 position.
