    Description

    Role Overview

    Mid‑level technician able to independently complete basic-to-intermediate installations and perform troubleshooting on small commercial systems. Works with moderate supervision and may provide limited training to Entry technicians. 

    Key Responsibilities

    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Manage onsite the installation details with SEi technicians and other trade
    • Manage all aspects of a job including planning, communication, implementation, and paperwork
    • Responsible for project outcome including cost, scope and quality to meet deadlines while exceeding customer expectations
    • Install equipment, pull wire, wire and program panels, train customers, and are responsible for onsite success of the project
    • Update all project progress notes and appropriate documents in Sedona
    • Keep an accurate record of inventory
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Gain working knowledge and fully understand SEi internal software programs
    • Work in the field with onsite labor to complete the job
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Ability to understand the client needs and have good communication skills
    • Proven project management and organization skills
    • General knowledge of International Building Code, Life Safety Code, National Electrical Code
    • Ability to read Blueprints, Hardware schedules and Gantt charts
    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret contracts, policies, documents and regulations
    • Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information and respond to questions from clients
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form
    • Travel as necessary to perform job functions
    • Excellent leadership skills is a must
