Project Manager

Payrate: $60.00 - $60.03/hr.
 
Summary:
The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, or any other non-IT based project.
 
Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities to ensure timely and successful delivery.
• Track project progress, identify potential risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and action items.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Monitor project performance metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and implementation of project management best practices.
• Analyze retail supply chain operations, develop and maintain SOPs, optimize processes across distribution centers and stores.
• Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
• Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

 
Qualifications

• Professional experience in project management or analysis (internships or academic projects considered).
• Experience working with third-party vendors preferred.
• Mobile industry or consumer electronics retail experience a plus.
• Must have proven time management skills and quickly adapt to changing business environments.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities with the appropriate level of urgency.
• Must have communication skills; verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate strong analytical problem-solving skills to provide quick resolution to any issues that arise.
• Must work collaboratively with fellow employees, treating all partners, both internal and external, with dignity and respect at all times.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfortable working with large sets of data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• SAP Experience.
• Willing to travel nationally, about 10% of the time.

 
Skills

• Certification or education in Project or Product Management, or related field.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or other project management methodologies.
• Basic understanding of budgeting and financial analysis.
• Experience in Supply Chain or Retail is a plus.
• Strong time and project management skills – able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with concurrent and competing deadlines.
• Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to pull out key significant information and tell a story in a PowerPoint presentation.
• Strong sense of urgency and accuracy in data reporting to ensure reporting is correct every day.
• Strong communication skills with an ability to demonstrate influence without direct authority.
• Extremely comfortable with quickly learning new systems and processes.
• Independent and can take full charge of responsibilities, but not afraid to ask for guidance when needed.

 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $60.00 - $60.03 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
