Position: Project Manager – Reconstruction
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Compensation: $75,000 – $125,000 (DOE)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager – Reconstruction to oversee insurance-based reconstruction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and/or light commercial remodeling or restoration, with proven experience managing projects of varying scope and complexity. This role requires someone who can thrive in the fast-paced, ever-changing world of insurance restoration, demonstrating creative problem-solving skills and leadership through the challenges of rebuilding from loss.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee reconstruction projects from estimate approval through project completion

  • Coordinate subcontractors, in-house crews, materials, and scheduling

  • Communicate with adjusters, homeowners, and internal teams to ensure alignment and transparency

  • Solve unique reconstruction challenges, especially those arising from fire-damaged properties

  • Maintain budgets, timelines, and high-quality construction standards

  • Ensure jobsite safety and compliance with building codes and client requirements

  • Document project milestones, changes, and communications

  • Support project close-out, including punch lists and customer satisfaction follow-up


Requirements


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in remodeling, restoration, or insurance-based reconstruction

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong knowledge of construction practices and building codes

  • Experience working on insurance claims and understanding of carrier expectations

  • Ability to manage project budgets and timelines effectively

  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to think creatively and adapt to jobsite challenges

  • Proficiency with project management software and documentation tools

  • Valid driver’s license required
