The organization has an active portfolio of public construction projects across Massachusetts and is currently hiring for a Project Manager in Worcester, MA.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of substantial public construction projects in Central MA. The position has ownership across the entire project lifecycle, including preconstruction, financial management, subcontractor coordination, schedule execution, safety, quality, and closeout.

The current opening is full-time and onsite, and this company is looking for candidates with experience managing projects in the $30M-$70M+ range, making this a great opportunity for PMs accustomed to complex institutional or public-sector work

Job Details

• 5-10 years of Project Management experience, ideally managing public projects in the $30M-$70M+ range.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Manage projects across the full lifecycle, including preconstruction, design review, procurement, scheduling, execution, financial management, and closeout.
• Maintain project budgets and oversee financial workflows including requisitions, payments, lien releases, payroll, and cash flow.
• Coordinate closely with owners, architects, field supervision, subcontractors, vendors, and internal estimating resources.
• Manage subcontractor scopes, contracts, purchase orders, project documentation, and closeout deliverables.
• Provide leadership around jobsite safety, quality, schedule, and overall project execution.
• Strong technical knowledge, organization, communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Massachusetts public construction experience is highly relevant
• Procore experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience with job-cost reporting, billing, and payable processes is preferred.
