Project Manager - Raleigh - Life Sciences

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex pharmaceutical, healthcare, and manufacturing construction projects throughout the Raleigh-Durham market. This role offers the opportunity to own project execution from client communication through subcontractor management while driving successful outcomes on high-visibility projects.

Description

• Lead pharmaceutical, healthcare, and manufacturing construction projects from planning through completion.
• Own client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout project execution.
• Manage subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure schedule, budget, and quality objectives are achieved.
• Drive project meetings, communicate updates, and proactively address risks and challenges.
• Maintain and oversee project documentation, including submittal logs, RFI logs, and project reports.
• Forecast project outcomes and develop solutions to mitigate schedule or budget impacts.
• Coordinate field activities and collaborate with project teams across multiple job sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and client expectations.
• Support interior renovation and construction projects within life sciences and pharmaceutical environments.
• Travel to project sites throughout the Triangle region, with occasional office presence in Cary, NC.

Profile

Must-Have Qualifications

• Proven Project Management experience within commercial construction.
• Experience managing pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing, or other highly regulated construction projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently and take ownership of outcomes.
• Strong client communication and relationship management skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple project stakeholders.
• Knowledge of submittal logs, RFI logs, and documentation-intensive project environments.
• Ability to effectively run meetings, communicate project status, and proactively resolve issues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with footing and concrete scopes.
• Previous experience working on life sciences or pharmaceutical facility projects.
• Familiarity with interior renovation and finishes projects.
