Summary Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget; serves as the primary point of contact for project execution, collaborating with operations, clients, and internal teams to deliver high-quality results and achieve customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to achieve project objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including operations, service, engineering, and procurement, to ensure timely execution.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Communicate project status, financial performance, and risks to clients and leadership.
  • Review project documents, specifications, and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage change orders, scope adjustments, and project documentation.
  • Ensure all projects comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for project escalations or emergency needs as required.
  • Maintain accurate project records and reporting for internal and client use.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelors degree and 5+ years of project management experience in construction, fire protection, or technical service industries; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of NFPA and IEC standards, Underwriters requirements and applicable building codes preferred.

Computer Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent) and ERP systems preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Combination of office and field work.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods.
