Description

Role Overview:
  • Project Manager (Reporting and Analytics) leads the development of reporting and analytics for a DC Government procurement system modernization project. Project length for this position is 12+ months and this requires 16+ years of experience, onsite work 4 days weekly in Washington, DC, and expertise in Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Supports the Project Management Office (PMO) for the PASS Modernization Project. Manages end-to-end delivery of reporting/analytics solutions, from requirements gathering through post-go-live support. Coordinates stakeholders, maintains schedules using Microsoft Project or Agile tools, and ensures alignment with district goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage reporting and analytics requirements, solution designs, data sources, implementation, testing, and post-go-live support.
  • Create and monitor project schedules, status reports, and presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement, team resources, and data usage for business decisions, training, and policies.
  • Translate vision into project plans, resource alignments, training, change management, testing, and go-live activities.
  • Manage scope, RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions), communications, and project artifacts in Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Analyze delivery dates to build Microsoft Project or Agile Scrum schedules, track milestones, and mitigate workstream impacts.
  • Participate in PMO, steering committee meetings, document decisions, and act as liaison across teams.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, IT, data, communications, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 16+ years managing projects involving data, reporting, and analytics.
  • 16+ years proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • 16+ years expertise in Agile Scrum methodologies, including leading sprints.
  • 16+ years proven leadership for diverse onsite/virtual teams with strong decision-making.
  • 16+ years excellent written/verbal communication for varied audiences.
  • Willing to work onsite 4 days per week in Washington, DC.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for data dashboards.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint and Teams.
  • AI experience related to data, reporting, and analytics.
