Project Manager
This reputable and growing real estate developer is working out of Fort Lauderdale with work throughout Dade & Broward county. They work in the Multifamily Residential sector, building mid rise, garden style projects. They are seeking a talented project manager, ideally coming from experience with a general contractor, to join their team & working closely with GCs on the development side of multifamily work.
Job Description
Manage renovation and new construction projects from planning through completion, including budgeting, estimating, bidding, scheduling, and contractor coordination. Lead architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors throughout the design, permitting, and construction process. Review plans, specifications, and construction documents to ensure quality, code compliance, and successful project execution. Conduct site visits, monitor project progress, verify work quality, and approve construction draws and payments. Provide regular project updates, reports, and recommendations to company leadership while proactively resolving project challenges. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communication.

The Successful Applicant
5+ years of Project Management experience within construction, development, or owner-side project management. Experience managing multifamily renovation projects, including common areas, amenities, exterior improvements, and value-add renovations. Exposure to new commercial or ground-up construction projects. Strong understanding of construction documents, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls. Knowledge of Florida construction codes and industry standards. Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Excel, and other construction management tools. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred. General Contractor's License and Spanish language skills are considered a plus.
