This reputable and growing real estate developmer is working out of Fort Lauderdale with work throughout Dade & Broward county. They work in the Multifamily Residential sector, building mid rise, garden style projects. They are seeking a talented project manager, ideally coming from experience with a general contractor, to join their team & working closely with GCs on the development side of multifamily work.
Description
- Manage renovation and new construction projects from planning through completion, including budgeting, estimating, bidding, scheduling, and contractor coordination.
- Lead architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors throughout the design, permitting, and construction process.
- Review plans, specifications, and construction documents to ensure quality, code compliance, and successful project execution.
- Conduct site visits, monitor project progress, verify work quality, and approve construction draws and payments.
- Provide regular project updates, reports, and recommendations to company leadership while proactively resolving project challenges.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communication.
Profile
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within construction, development, or owner-side project management.
- Experience managing multifamily renovation projects, including common areas, amenities, exterior improvements, and value-add renovations.
- Exposure to new commercial or ground-up construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction documents, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls.
- Knowledge of Florida construction codes and industry standards.
- Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Excel, and other construction management tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- General Contractor's License and Spanish language skills are considered a plus.
