Our client is an established general contractor serving Washington, DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. With more than five decades of commercial construction experience, this company delivers corporate interiors, healthcare facilities, retail and restaurant spaces, educational environments, and other specialized projects.
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from planning through closeout. This position will coordinate with clients, design teams, superintendents, and subcontractors to manage budgets, schedules, quality, and project delivery.

Job Details
Commercial construction project-management experience with a general contractor.
Experience delivering interior renovations, tenant improvements, and commercial build-outs.
Management of projects from preconstruction and procurement through turnover and closeout.
Budget development, cost tracking, financial forecasting, and change-order management.
Construction scheduling, procurement planning, and coordination of long-lead materials.
Subcontractor bid evaluation, scope review, contract administration, and performance oversight.
Interpretation of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
Management of RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, progress reports, and closeout documents.
Coordination with superintendents, owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
Knowledge of construction sequencing, building systems, safety requirements, and quality standards.
Experience coordinating phased construction and work in occupied facilities.
Proficiency with construction project-management software and Microsoft Office.
Written communication, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and visit project sites throughout the DC metropolitan area.
