Position SummaryThe Project Manager is responsible for owning sign projects from initial inquiry through final installation and close-out. This role is customer centric, combining estimating, CRM, customer follow-up, sales order conversion, permitting coordination, and full project management. This is a senior, highly accountable role that directly impacts revenue, margin, and customer experience.
Pre-Order / Sales & Estimating Responsibilities
- Qualify inbound opportunities and assess project fit
- Develop accurate estimates for sign projects
- Maintain relationship with property management clients and fulfill their requests for signage updates with quotes and proofs.
- Follow up on proposals and convert quotes to orders
- Address pricing questions and negotiate scope within guidelines
Post-Order / Project Management Responsibilities
- Own awarded projects from kickoff through installation
- Design and create signage proofs
- Create schedules and coordinate internal resources
- Manage permitting, surveys, and municipal approvals
- Coordinate shop drawings, production, and material procurement
- Schedule and manage installation crews or subcontractors
Required Experience
- 2+ years in signage
- Experience estimating and managing complex projects
- Strong client communication and organizational skills
Preferred
- Permitting experience
- Ability to design signage concepts
- Experience with monument, pylon, and site signage projects
Reporting StructureReports directly to the Owner / General Manager
