• Job Type: Contract to Hire
• Location: Remote working pacific time
• Compensation: This job is expected to be paid about $50-$55/hour
• No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role

What You’ll Do:

• Portfolio management: Manage a portfolio of 8–10 security projects. Prioritize work against business risk and capacity, and track the health of each project.
• Full project lifecycle: Charter projects, define scope and success criteria, and guide each one through the standard lifecycle to on-time completion.
• Cross-functional delivery: Coordinate with security, infrastructure, network, automation, and business teams. Keep dependencies aligned and remove blockers.
• Backlog and Jira ownership: Manage the domain's Jira boards in a product-owner-style role. Coordinate stories, groom the backlog, and facilitate sprint work with delivery teams.
• Risk and issue management: Identify risks early, keep risk and issue logs current, and escalate with clear options and recommendations.
• KPIs and benefits tracking: Define and report the KPIs and expected benefits for each project, and confirm that delivered work achieves its intended security and compliance outcomes.
• Status visibility and data quality: Keep project data complete and accurate in tools. Give leadership clear, consistent status reports.
• Stakeholder communication: Serve as the single point of accountability for domain projects, for both technical teams and leadership

What Gets You the Job: 

• 3-5 years of project or program management experience in a technology, IT, security, or infrastructure environment.
• A track record of managing several concurrent projects and delivering them on schedule.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and follow-through skills.
• Hands-on Jira or similar Agile tool experience, including backlog and board management.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including status reporting to leadership.
• Comfort working with technical teams and translating technical work into business terms.
• Experience with security, identity, or infrastructure projects (i.e. Crowdstrike, AD, Entra ID, or remediation and compliance programs) is a plus.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and audit processes is a plus.
• PMP, PgMP, CSM, or similar certifications are a plus.
• Telecommunciations or ISP industry experience is a plus.
