Company: Cargomatic, Inc.

About Cargomatic

Cargomatic is a rapidly growing technology company disrupting the local trucking industry. We are the #1 digital marketplace powering world-class, local trucking. Local trucking is the backbone of every regional economy, yet this $82 billion industry still relies heavily on manual and outdated processes. Cargomatic is transforming how goods move at every local node in the supply chain by connecting shippers and commercial drivers through modern technology. We solve complex, real-world problems every day, bringing transparency, efficiency, and reliability to logistics.

Role Overview

Lead high-impact, cross-functional programs focused on end-to-end software delivery execution. Own release lifecycle management and the rollout of new platform capabilities. Drive business-critical outcomes across Product, Engineering, Operations, and key stakeholder groups. Bring structure to complex initiatives and strengthen launch readiness. Ensure new capabilities are successfully adopted in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.

This role is based in the San Francisco market.

What You'll Do

Own and drive end-to-end program execution across the full software development lifecycle, including intake, planning, delivery, launch, adoption, and post-release learning.

Lead release lifecycle management including release calendars, readiness reviews, go/no-go frameworks, dependency tracking, and post-release validation.

Drive implementation and rollout of new platform capabilities through pilots, phased launches, enablement plans, and operational readiness.

Establish and maintain program governance through milestones, operating cadences, dashboards, and executive-level status reporting.

Identify risks, blockers, and trade-offs early, escalating with clear and actionable recommendations.

Track and continuously improve delivery, quality, and adoption outcomes using measurable metrics.

What We're Looking For

6-10+ years of program management experience in product-driven or technology-focused environments.

Strong experience leading complex, cross-functional programs across Product, Engineering, QA, Support, Finance, and Operations.

Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and modern delivery practices including Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and release planning.

Proven experience rolling out new capabilities with a focus on operational readiness and adoption.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders without direct authority.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

Experience managing multi-team release trains and formal launch governance.

Familiarity with delivery and quality metrics such as cycle time, defect escape rate, and rollback rate.

Experience in SaaS platforms, logistics, supply chain, marketplaces, or other operationally complex systems.

PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master certification, or equivalent experience.

Benefits

Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance

401(k) retirement plan with company match

Flexible paid time off and paid holidays

Opportunity to join a high-growth company redefining logistics and supply chain technology
