Job Description
We are looking for a highly organized and driven Project Manager to oversee projects from initial estimating and detailing through fabrication and final erection. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and the shop floor, ensuring seamless communication and flawless execution
Job Responsibilities
- Project Lifecycle Management: Manage structural and miscellaneous steel projects from contract award to final closeout.
- Budget & Cost Control: Track project expenses, manage change orders, and optimize profitability.
- Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
- Coordination: Act as the liaison between the client, general contractors, detailing/drafting teams, and our in-house fabrication shop and erectors.
- Shop foreman will allocate fabrication manpower
- Filed superintnedants will coordinate field manpower
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all fabricated materials meet industry standards (e.g., AISC, AWS) and project specifications.
- Coordinate shop drawing creation, approval and shop release
- Coordinate RFI's, process change orders, field measuring, etc...
- Perform sites visits and attend coordination meetings as required
- Represent the company with honesty and integrity, exceeding expectaions.

Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of project management experience specifically in the structural steel and misc metal fabrication or commercial construction industry.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural blueprints, as well as shop drawings.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Tekla / ProFab software is preferred.
- Microsoft word and excel is required
- Communication: Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and client-facing skills
