Project Manager - Structural Steel

Our client, an established structural steel contractor, is hiring a Project Manager in Watkinsville, GA. You'll manage structural steel projects from award through closeout, keeping them on schedule, on budget, and safe.

What you'll do

• Manage structural steel projects from contract award through closeout.
• Coordinate detailing, fabrication, delivery, and erection schedules.
• Track budgets, costs, change orders, and billing.
• Handle submittals, RFIs, and shop drawing approvals.
• Act as the main contact for general contractors, engineers, and owners.
• Work with field crews and subcontractors to make sure work meets quality and safety standards.

What you bring

• 3+ years of project management experience in structural steel or miscellaneous metals.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with project management software and Microsoft Office.
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
