Job Description

Duration: 3 Months
Location: Washington, DC

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project tracking for key priorities, including timelines, milestones, next steps, risks, and follow-up items.
  • Triage incoming requests, gather needed background, assess urgency, and help route work to the appropriate team members.
  • Coordinate the development of written products by tracking timelines, contributors, reviews, versions, formatting, and next steps to ensure efficient progression from development to publication.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for team leadership, including scheduling, meeting logistics, agenda preparation, note-taking, action-item tracking, and support for executive briefings and presentations.
  • Coordinate across the enterprise to gather input, align timelines, move work forward, keep stakeholders informed, and support communications, status updates, and meeting materials.
  • Provide support for procurement activities, including tracking requests, coordinating materials, and helping move items through required processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in project management, public policy, operations, communications, product development, or related work.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, contributors, and moving pieces.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience supporting the development of written products, presentations, briefing materials, or similar deliverables.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, tracking action items, maintaining version control, and documenting decisions and next steps.
  • Comfort supporting senior leaders and working with colleagues across teams and functions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and shared document platforms.

Preferred Skills:

  • Public policy experience or familiarity with financial security, retirement, savings, consumer protection, or related issues is helpful.
  • Experience with data visualization, charts, dashboards, or translating data into clear visuals is a plus.
