Description

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Planner in Orlando, FL. Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Planner to optimize our Order Management team. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely procurement and delivery of project materials to meet production targets. This role requires an analytical mind and excellent negotiation skills to streamline processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity.   • Schedule and oversee the supply and delivery of materials and products
  • Analyze and predict material requirements using ERP systems and forecasting tools
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding production goals, timelines, and supplier needs
  • Manage relationships with Project Management, Supply Chain, Quality and Production
  • Monitor and report project material status to PM, Production and Management
  • Collaborate with production teams to assess product specifications and requirements
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and inefficiencies in the material flow
  • Prepare regular reports on material usage, status, and procurement
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
  • Handle unexpected delays, arranging alternative sources of supply when necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or High School diploma/GED with relevant experience
  • Proven experience as a Materials Planner, ideally in the manufacturing sector
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to solve problems under pressure
  • Capability to operate independently and as part of a team

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
