Enterprise AI Project / Program Manager

Duration: Long term, open ended contract with the potential for perm conversion in the future

Location: Atlanta, GA

Onsite Requirement: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote per week

Compensation: $60-70/hr

We're looking for an experienced Project or Program Manager to support the coordination and execution of Enterprise AI initiatives across a large, complex organization.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technology project management, Jira, cross-functional coordination, and executive communication experience who is interested in working with emerging AI initiatives. Direct AI experience is helpful but not required.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working across multiple technical and business teams, and skilled at bringing structure and visibility to fast-moving initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate multiple Enterprise AI projects and workstreams, keeping priorities, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables organized.
• Partner with Product Owners, development teams, Infrastructure, Security, Enterprise Applications, and other stakeholders to keep work moving forward.
• Identify and track risks, roadblocks, and cross-team dependencies and help drive them toward resolution.
• Manage Jira, including ticket creation, tracking, workflow coordination, dashboards, reporting, and overall Jira hygiene.
• Support quarterly planning by coordinating inputs, priorities, dependencies, and leadership materials.
• Prepare clear and concise weekly status updates, executive communications, and roadmap views.
• Facilitate project meetings, leadership updates, and cross-functional working sessions.
• Partner with Enablement, Communications, and Learning & Development teams to coordinate launch activities.
• Track SOWs, contractor labor costs, and project/program financials.
• Help improve project management processes, reporting, governance, and overall team efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Project Manager, Program Manager, Technical Project Manager, or similar role supporting technology initiatives.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jira, including ticket management, dashboards, reporting, and workflow tracking.
• Experience coordinating projects involving multiple technical and business teams.
• Ability to manage dependencies and keep several initiatives moving forward simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing updates for leadership and executive audiences.
• Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively when priorities, requirements, or timelines change.
• Experience with project financials, vendor management, or SOW tracking is preferred.
• Exposure to AI, emerging technologies, software development, or enterprise technology initiatives is a plus, but direct AI experience is not required.
