    Job Description

    Position Purpose

    Single point of accountability for delivery of the LAMP plant from equipment arrival through demonstrated production. Owns scope, cost, schedule, contracts and the integrated project plan, and is the interface between the site and LAMP leadership.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own the integrated master schedule covering delivery, installation, mechanical completion, commissioning and startup, and hold the critical path visible and current at all times.
    • Control project cost against the approved budget, manage change orders and contingency, and issue a monthly cost and schedule report to leadership.
    • Chair weekly coordination between construction, engineering, QA/QC, HSE and vendor field service, and drive open items to closure.
    • Own the submittal package to government and regulatory bodies, including approved plans and compliance reports, and track approval status as a schedule constraint.
    • Manage contractor and vendor performance against contract terms, approve progress payments and lead claim avoidance.
    • Maintain the project risk register with named owners, mitigation actions and dates, and escalate items that threaten a milestone gate.
    • Lead the phased handover of systems from construction to commissioning to operations, with signed turnover packages at each step.
    • Sequence and sponsor the site hiring plan so that each role is on site ahead of the work it is accountable for.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or a related technical field.
    • Ten or more years delivering industrial capital projects, with at least one project carried personally from equipment delivery through startup.
    • Demonstrated command of cost control, schedule management in Primavera P6 or equivalent, and contract administration.
    • Working knowledge of process plant execution, including P&ID driven installation, mechanical completion and commissioning sequencing.
    • OSHA 30 and a credible record of safety leadership on an active construction site.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • PMP or equivalent certification.
    • Chemical, biochemical, fermentation or specialty chemicals project experience.
    • Experience managing a project with federal or state reporting obligations.
