Nooter/Eriksen is seeking a Project Scheduler to join the Projects Team. This role is part of a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's project plans for measurement, analysis and customer reporting to help the business meet its objectives. Our offices are located in Fenton, MO. The expectation is that this will be a hybrid position depending on business needs.

DAY IN THE LIFE:

The Project Scheduler reports directly to the Planning Manager and works hand-in-hand with the Project Managers and Team Members to ensure risks and issues are addressed or considered in meeting the overall schedule requirement goals of the company.

As the Project Scheduler you will

  • build project schedules, analyze, publish and respond to project updates received from team members through the Project Server planning system,
  • approve/reject those plan changes as necessary to keep the project in line with its objectives,
  • maintain the system databases, develop monthly update reports for customer review and distribute these reports both internally and externally since multiple reports are generated for each active project,
  • develop, coordinate and lay out project plans that meet the contract specifications of our customers,
  • work with the project teams to establish individual baselines for each project based on a master template, attend team meetings to stay current on any risks and/or issues that may be delaying project execution,
  • coordinate monthly meetings with Project Managers, Project Engineers and team members to verify job status, and
  • work with Sales and Projects personnel to determine the viability of different proposals, project delivery dates, submittal time frames, and general feasibility questions.

QUALIFICATIONS. We want the person selected for this role to be successful! The following qualifications are essential to be effective in this role:

  • At least one (1) year of experience building project schedules in Microsoft Project.
  • Proficient with SharePoint and Microsoft Office suite especially Excel and Access.
  • Highly professional, organized, adaptable and trustworthy team player, proficient in English.
  • Ability to read, write, problem solve, make quick decisions, interpret data and analyze results; effective written and verbal communication is essential.
