Project Superintendent - Single-family Residential construction

We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee single-family residential construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily construction activities and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with project managers and architects to resolve issues and implement design changes.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Train and mentor junior staff and subcontractors, promoting a culture of safety and excellence on site.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in single-family residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, First Aid) are a plus.
