As our Project Surveyor for our Survey & Geospatial team in Santa Fe Springs, you'll play a key role in supporting field crews, coordinating project activities, and contributing to the successful completion of construction surveying projects from start to finish.

What You'll Do

As our Project Surveyor, you will support field crews and project teams throughout the lifecycle of construction surveying projects. This is an engaging, fast-paced opportunity for someone who enjoys staying busy, solving problems, and seeing projects progress from start to finish.

• Project Support & Coordination

Support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction surveying projects while helping ensure field crews have the information and resources needed to successfully complete their work.

• Technical Project Work

Apply your construction surveying knowledge and technical expertise to support project deliverables, calculations, documentation, and other technical aspects of assigned projects.

• Field Crew Collaboration

Work closely with field crews to provide technical support, answer questions, and help resolve challenges that arise throughout the project.

• Client & Team Relationships

Build strong working relationships with clients, field crews, project teams, and other stakeholders through clear and effective communication.

• Systems & Procedures

Learn and consistently apply established systems, procedures, and workflows to support accurate, efficient, and consistent project delivery.

• Project Completion

Stay engaged throughout the project lifecycle, helping move assignments from the initial stages through successful completion.

Required Qualifications

• Construction surveying experience required
• Relevant experience supporting construction surveying projects and field crews
• LSIT certification preferred, but not required
• Strong understanding of construction surveying practices, procedures, and project workflows
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
• Persistent and solution-oriented approach to challenges
• Self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently
• Ability to work effectively with field crews, clients, and project teams
• Willingness to work on-site in the office five days per week

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Range: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
• Incentives: Discretionary performance bonus program
• Time Off: 3 weeks PTO plus 8 paid holidays
