Position Overview
The Project Surveyor supports surveying, mapping, and construction?related tasks for land development and civil engineering projects. This role requires strong technical accuracy, consistent coordination with field and office teams, and the ability to manage project documentation in alignment with established standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination Organize and coordinate survey projects involving a broad range of surveying, mapping, and construction assignments.
File Management Maintain and manage digital and physical file systems according to company standards.
Daily Communication Coordinate with field crews, project managers, construction managers, and superintendents.
Boundary Research Research and analyze boundary elements for retracement and property determination.
Survey Calculations Perform survey calculations, data analysis, and field support computations.
Drafting & Deliverables Prepare technical exhibits, maps, and final deliverables.
Team Support Assist and support the Survey Manager with daily operational needs.
Qualifications
Experience in surveying, mapping, or construction?related survey work
California PLS license preferred
Proficiency with survey software and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar)
Strong understanding of boundary analysis and survey calculations
Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
Strong organizational and communication skills
