Property Grounds & Cleaning Technician

Apartment Management Professionals, LLC (AMP Residential) is seeking to hire a full-time Property Grounds & Cleaning Technician to join our team at 83 West Townhomes! This communities has 504 units, and is located in West Bloomfield, MI!

This position will be responsible for maintaining the property's exterior appearance while supporting the maintenance team through in-house vacant unit cleaning and other preparations. The role will primarily focus on vacant unit cleaning, with groundskeeping responsibilities supporting the overall curb appeal of the community.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining the grounds and common areas of the property to ensure a clean, debris-free, safe and positive "curb appeal"
• Response for keeping interiors, exteriors, offices, clubhouse, common areas, vacant units, sidewalks and alleyways of the property in a clean and safe condition.
• Waters lawns, shrubs, and flowers as needed.
• Fertilizes /rakes lawn along with Trimming shrubs, plants and small trees
• Tends flowers; weeds, as necessary and sprays with insecticides
• Completes snow and ice removal throughout the community
• Assist in maintenance and cleaning of outdoor community swimming pool
• Assist in other types of service, related to housekeeping.
• Assist service staff in preparation of apartments and completion of service request
• Experience with community swimming pool maintenance preferred, but willing to train
• 1 yr. of Groundskeeper experience preferred, but willing to train
• 1 yr. of Housekeeping or janitorial experience highly preferred
• Attention to detail and ability to problem solve
• Excellent customer service and team oriented
• Must be willing to work outdoors in heat of summer months and cold of winter months
• Hard worker with a positive attitude
• Valid Driver's License with auto insurance required
• Ability to pass a drug screening
