About the Role: JJN Properties Ltd is looking for a skilled and motivated Property Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Central NY. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee maintenance operations, keep properties in top condition, and lead a team that takes pride in their work. Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations across residential properties in Onondaga, Oneida and Oswego counties
Inspect properties regularly to identify and address repair, safety, and maintenance needs
Assign and oversee work orders, ensuring timely and quality completion by maintenance staff
Perform and assist with hands-on repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry
Manage relationships with outside vendors, contractors, and service providers
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards
Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies; coordinate purchasing as needed
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to handle urgent matters outside of business hours
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or a related trade
Prior supervisory or team lead experience
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
Ability to read and interpret work orders, maintenance logs, and basic blueprints
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Excellent communication skills and a team-first, solution-oriented attitude
Computer skills; Experience with AppFolio is a plus
