Location: Dearborn, MI

Salary: $65,000-$70,000 per year

Job Type: Full-time

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and overall performance of a residential community in Dearborn, MI.

The ideal candidate has previous Property Manager experience and is a confident leader with a strong background in team management, leasing, financial performance, resident relations, collections, and property operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations and financial performance of the community
• Lead, train, and support the onsite management, leasing, and maintenance teams
• Monitor occupancy, leasing activity, renewals, collections, and delinquency
• Develop strategies to improve resident retention and overall community performance
• Review financial reports, invoices, budgets, and community expenses
• Ensure resident files, leases, and property documentation are accurate and compliant
• Address resident concerns and resolve escalated matters professionally
• Conduct regular property inspections and monitor curb appeal and maintenance needs
• Partner with the maintenance team to ensure service requests and apartment readiness are completed promptly
• Support marketing and outreach efforts to generate qualified traffic
• Prepare operational and financial reports for senior leadership
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing guidelines, company policies, and applicable regulations

Qualifications

• Previous Property Manager experience is required
• Multifamily or residential property management experience
• Proven experience leading and developing an onsite team
• Strong knowledge of leasing, collections, delinquency, and resident retention
• Experience managing budgets, expenses, and financial reporting
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Experience using property management software
• Working knowledge of Fair Housing requirements
