The Proposal Specialist supports business development and sales activities by leading the development and submission of responses to RFPs, RFIs, and proposal requests, coordinating efforts across multiple departments.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end RFP/RFI proposal development and submission for new business opportunities and account renewals
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Leadership, and Account Management to produce high-quality, strategic responses
- Develop presentations and reports that highlight the full scope of services and company differentiators
- Manage quoting, proposal generation, and renewal processes across multiple lines of business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners for effective communication and negotiation
- Track and report on sales activity and pipeline using internal systems and tools
- Stay current on industry trends and available market products
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement
Qualifications- Bachelors degree
- 3–5 years of experience in Sales Support
- Experience drafting and editing RFPs for sales teams
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PDF tools
- Experience with databases, reporting tools, or project management platforms
