Provider Data Management Analyst I

Location: Remote (Candidates must reside in Texas)

Pay Rate: Starting at $21.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with possible overtime

Dean's Professional Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Provider Data Management Analyst I to support a leading healthcare organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical professional with strong data entry and Microsoft Office skills who can help maintain accurate provider information and support health plan operations.

Responsibilities

• Enroll providers and practitioners into the provider data management system.

   

• Update provider records with claims payment and provider directory information.

   

• Research, review, and process updates within the provider data management system based on provider requests.

   

• Perform quality checks to ensure provider data is accurate and complete, including information related to claims processing and provider directories.

   

• Research discrepancies, identify data issues, and resolve problems as needed.

   

• Use multiple systems, applications, and internet resources to validate provider information and maintain data accuracy.

   

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree is preferred.

   

• 1-2 years of related experience required.

   

• 2+ years of data entry experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications preferred.

   

• Strong computer skills and attention to detail.

   

• Experience with data analysis, customer service, or administrative support preferred.

   

• Healthcare operations experience, including claims processing, billing, provider relations, contracting, provider data management, or credentialing, is preferred.

   

• Experience working in a managed care, insurance, or medical office environment is a plus.

   

• Ability to research information, identify discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
