    Location: Monterrey Park, CA

    Job Summary: The Provider Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for leading the recruitment and talent acquisition process for healthcare providers, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dentists, behavioral health providers, and other clinical professionals. This position develops and maintains a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to support the organization's current and future provider staffing needs.

    JOB DUTIES: The Provider Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for leading and supporting the recruitment and talent acquisition of healthcare providers for the organization. This position specializes in sourcing, attracting, engaging, and recruiting qualified physicians and other clinical providers to meet the organization's current and future workforce needs.

    The Provider Talent Acquisition Specialist develops and maintains a strong pipeline of qualified candidates and builds relationships with providers, medical schools, residency and fellowship programs, professional organizations, and other recruitment partners. The position works closely with Clinical Leadership, Human Resources, Credentialing, and department leadership to ensure an efficient and positive provider recruitment experience from initial outreach through hire and onboarding.

    This position is primarily focused on the recruitment of healthcare providers and is may assist if needed general non-provider recruitment if otherwise assigned.

    • Recruit physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, behavioral health providers, dentists, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified provider candidates.
    • Source candidates through job boards, professional networks, medical associations, residency and fellowship programs, referrals, recruitment events, social media, and other appropriate recruitment channels.
    • Conduct initial candidate screening and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and Clinical Leadership.
    • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
    • Coordinate offers, background checks, drug screening, and other pre-employment requirements.
    • Work with Credentialing and HR to support timely provider onboarding and start dates.
    • Build relationships with medical schools, residency programs, professional organizations, and other provider recruitment sources.
    • Assist with recruitment of hard-to-fill provider positions and specialties.
    • Track vacancies, candidate activity, time-to-fill, and other recruitment metrics.
    • Provide recruitment updates and recommendations to leadership.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential recruitment records.
    • Ensure recruitment activities comply with organizational policies and applicable employment laws.
    • Represent the organization professionally at recruitment events and other provider outreach activities.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
    • Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or healthcare recruitment.
    • Experience recruiting healthcare providers is strongly preferred.
    • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple recruitment searches and priorities.
    • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office.

    Working Conditions

    Normal office environment with:

    • Primarily works in a professional office environment with regular use of a computer, telephone, email, and video conferencing systems.
    • Position may require prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
    • Frequent communication with candidates, employees, leadership, and external recruitment partners by phone, email, and virtual platforms.
    • May occasionally attend recruitment events, job fairs, residency programs, conferences, or other off-site activities.
    • May occasionally travel locally or regionally for recruitment and outreach activities.
    • Work may involve managing multiple priorities, meeting recruitment deadlines, and responding to time-sensitive staffing needs.
    • Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling candidate and employee information.
