The organization operates ten healthcare centers, eight Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) nutrition program locations, a Mobile Health Unit, and in-house Pharmacy services. They deliver integrated primary medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare services to patients of all ages and backgrounds throughout the state.
The Position
Our client is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join their outpatient behavioral health team in South Bend, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PMHNP to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative, mission-focused environment.
Compensation & Benefits Include:
- $114,716 – $128,481 Salary (Experience-Based)
- $20,000 additional reward and retention bonus opportunity, paid in allotments
- $2,500 CME allowance plus 5 paid CME days

Requirements
- Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Active Indiana medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Current DEA license / prescriptive authority (post-hire)
- 2+ years of clinical experience preferred community health experience a plus
- BLS certification
- Spanish-speaking skills preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- 100% outpatient behavioral health
- Manage patients of all ages with a variety of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
- 35 patient care hours and 5 administrative hours per week
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and treatment planning
- Diagnose mental health conditions and prescribe medications as appropriate
- Provide patient education and counseling regarding treatment plans and medications
- Collaborate with integrated primary care and behavioral health teams
- Participate in clinic staff meetings and quality initiatives
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational standards
- Utilize eClinicalWorks EMR
