    Job Description

    Cordial Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with psychiatric experience to provide on-site behavioral health care throughout Greater Orlando, Florida.

    This full-time opportunity offers meaningful clinical work, provider autonomy and extensive support from an experienced behavioral health team. You will serve adult and geriatric residents while helping improve emotional well-being, behavioral stability and overall quality of life.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, consultations and follow-up visits
    • Diagnose and manage psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
    • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
    • Prescribe, monitor and adjust psychotropic medications
    • Evaluate treatment response, medication effectiveness and side effects
    • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, social workers, residents and families
    • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning
    • Educate residents, caregivers and staff regarding diagnoses, medications and behavioral interventions
    • Provide compassionate, trauma-informed and resident-centered care
    • Maintain accurate, timely and compliant clinical documentation


    Requirements

    • Board-certified PMHNP-BC or Physician Assistant with significant psychiatric experience
    • Active and unrestricted Florida professional license
    • Active DEA registration required
    • Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, psychopharmacology and treatment planning
    • Ability to manage a psychiatric caseload independently
    • Excellent communication, organization and clinical-reasoning skills
    • Geriatric, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care or post-acute experience preferred
    • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems preferred
    • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus but not required
