Are you a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) looking to make a meaningful, face-to-face impact in the nation's capital? We are growing our behavioral health practice in Washington, D.C., and looking for an active, locally licensed PMHNP to join our collaborative, in-person clinical team.


In this role, you will work side-by-side with experienced physicians, therapists, and support staff to provide high-quality, compassionate mental health care to a diverse patient community.


What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):


  • Conduct comprehensive in-person psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status exams.

  • Formulate evidence-based treatment plans and manage ongoing psychopharmacological care.

  • Provide direct face-to-face risk assessments and crisis intervention as needed.

  • Collaborate closely with on-site multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, holistic care.

  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation compliant with District and federal guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements:


  • Active DC APRN / PMHNP License: Must hold an active, unencumbered license in the District of Columbia prior to start date.

  • Active DC DEA Registration: Active prescriptive authority for District of Columbia (or eligible to transfer/add DC location).

  • Education & Certification: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with ANCC Board Certification as a PMHNP (PMHNP-BC).

  • Work Setting: Ability to work 100% on-site at our Washington, D.C. clinic.

  • Experience: 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience preferred (licensed new grads welcome to apply).
