Psychiatrist - Forensics

Summary:

• Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM to 4PM

Responsibilities:

• Manage a forensic patient caseload of 19-25
• Complete patient admissions and discharges
• Provide psychiatric response for emergent patient crises
• Maintain professional documentation within an electronic medical record
• Conduct competency to stand trial evaluations and evaluations for Court Order Psychiatric Medications (COPM) with court testimony

Requirements:

• Board-certified Adult Psychiatrist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
• Medicaid and Medicare enrollment

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum of 1-year of experience
• Prior experience working within a forensic setting
