Psychiatrist

Compensation: $230K - $280K per year + Comprehensive Benefits Package

Job Type: Full-time, Monday - Friday, in-person

Location: Pittsburg, PA

We are seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to provide high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care in a community health center setting. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive mental health services while supporting coordinated, cost-effective care across the patient lifecycle. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, detail-oriented, and committed to serving a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with patients and staff
  • Apply sound clinical judgment and problem-solving skills in complex situations
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and operational processes

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
  • Active Pennsylvania medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience in community health or similar clinical setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of mental health best practices, clinical protocols, and accreditation standards
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in urgent situations
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and general computer applications
