Location: St. Louis, MO 63112
Duration: Monday through Friday, approximately 40 hours per week, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Work Schedule: 6 Months
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Provide in-person psychiatric services at the assigned facility in St. Louis, MO.
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management for clients with serious mental illness.
- Deliver psychiatric care to clients enrolled in a Competency Restoration Program.
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans and adjust medications as clinically appropriate.
- Complete and maintain accurate medical documentation, including:
- Admission Notes within 60 hours of client admission.
- Weekly progress notes for the first eight weeks following admission.
- Monthly progress notes thereafter.
- Discharge Summaries within 30 days of client discharge.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in orientation and mandatory training programs as required.
- Comply with all applicable facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards of psychiatric practice.

- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current and unrestricted Missouri Physician License.
- Current Missouri Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (BNDD) Registration.
- Current Missouri Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration.
- Experience evaluating and treating individuals with serious mental illness.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills.
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment environment.
- Ability to successfully complete all required pre-employment screening and credentialing requirements, including:
- Government-issued photo identification.
- Family Care Safety Registry check.
- Authorization for Release of Information by Law-Enforcement Agencies.
- Fingerprint background check.
- Negative TB test (2-part PPD or chest X-ray) completed within the past year.
