Psychiatry (PMHNP)

Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, is seeking a full-time PMHNP's in the Department of Psychiatry.

• Salary Range: $130,000 - $145,000
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $50,000
• Location: Cooperstown, NY

Job Description & Responsibilities

• The Department of Psychiatry includes the Division of Inpatient Psychiatry (14 bed acute Inpatient Psychiatry unit expanding to 20 beds by the end of 2026, consults to Med-Surg inpatients at several affiliate hospitals, and consults to the Emergency Departments), and the Division of Outpatient Psychiatry (OMH-licensed clinic in Cooperstown NY) with satellites throughout the Bassett Network and extensive Tele psychiatry services
• A diverse psychiatric team of physicians and PMHNP’s.
• Provide a full range of primary mental health services to our adult patient population with a focus on the promotion of optimal mental health,
• Provides psychiatric consultation, diagnostic and treatment services to the identified patient population, including medication management and crisis intervention services
• Maintain accurate documentation

Job Qualifications

• Psychiatric- Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification State of NY
• Experience with Adults – 18 year’s +
• 3+ Years’ Experience preferred
• New York State Licensure (or eligibilty to obtain)
• Valid DEA license
• BLS Certification

Compensation

• Salary Range: $130,000 - $145,000
• • This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $50,000
