Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services within our facility. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our clinical team, responsible for conducting assessments, delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and supporting the recovery-oriented treatment of our patient population. Your expertise will ensure the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and effective psychological care in accordance with all state regulations and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer initial and annual psychological assessments for all patients.
- Perform psychological testing, including scoring, interpretation, and the preparation of detailed written reports.
- Participate actively in clinical treatment meetings as part of the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide evidence-based, recovery-oriented therapeutic interventions to patients in both individual and group formats.
- Maintain a therapeutic alliance with patients and their families/caregivers, and facilitate family therapy sessions as needed.
- Develop and provide evidence-based therapeutic and psychoeducational interventions for campus-wide active treatment groups.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of all patient contacts in compliance with facility, departmental, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Provide expert recommendations for specialized psychological evaluation and treatment, aligned with the goals outlined in each patient's master treatment plan.
- Ensure patient involvement and participation in both treatment planning and implementation processes.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Must possess a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
- Licensure: Must hold a valid and active license as a Psychologist issued by the Indiana State Psychology Board.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of psychological theory, practice, and the applicable laws pertaining to the practice of psychology in Indiana.
- Ability to utilize various data sources to identify the changing clinical needs of the hospital population and to plan or adapt psychological practice accordingly.
- Proficiency in administering, interpreting, and incorporating psychological assessment materials to address salient diagnostic and treatment issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of the professional ethical guidelines delineated by the American Psychological Association.
- Knowledge of Indiana state rules and statutes and HIPAA regulations pertaining to patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Ability to supervise master's level clinicians and practicum students, if applicable.
