I.

JOB TITLE:

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

PSYCHOLOGIST

Responsible for conducting psychological assessments, diagnostic testing, and producing psychological

evaluations for patients of FCHC.

INTRADEPARTMENTAL RELATIONSHIPS:

Department Officer: Chief Behavioral Health Officer

Reports to:

Chief Behavioral Health Officer

Supervises:

Graduate Students of Psychology, if applicable

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Conduct psychological evaluations including

a. Interviews

b. Collateral Contacts

c. Identifying and administering appropriate screeners and tests

d. Formulating written reports that include diagnostic formulation and recommendations

that are meaningful and accessible to target audiences

e. Delivering real-time feedback sessions with patients and/or guardians

  1. Independently manage time spent gathering information with time spent writing reports and delivering

feedback.

  1. To meet monthly standards for productive use of time.

  2. Serve as an expert resource for integrated primary care and behavioral health providers.

  3. Maintain clear and timely medical records.

  4. Ensure all ethical and legal protocols are followed to retain test security.

PERIODIC DUTIES:

  1. Contributes services to community public health activities as appropriate.

  2. Participates in Center work team as needed.

  3. Participates in Center staff problem solving groups.

  4. Performs other duties as assigned.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

All Inclusive:

Patients, community organizations and agencies, professional colleagues and

organizations, and institutions of learning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

VI.

PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology from an APA accredited program required.

VII.

Active MO state license required.

Minimum of two (2) years' experience working in psychological assessment and testing.

Work experience or strong desire to work in urban community health setting preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

CONTINUING EDUCATION:

  1. Active professional development as demonstrated through attendance of seminars, continuing education

programs, etc. is strongly recommended.

  1. Satisfactory maintenance of continuing education standards as established by the Division of

Professional Registration of Missouri is required.
