Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and an Associate Degree

(Or 3+ years of leadership experience in law enforcement in place of the degree)

• Certified Peace Officer (P.O.S.T.) in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of law enforcement experience (educational/community policing a plus!)
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Major Responsibilities/Duties

• Lead and supervise part-time campus police officers and security personnel
• Patrol campus, respond to incidents, and conduct investigations
• Provide crime prevention education and community outreach
• Enforce local laws and college policies
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to foster a safe, inclusive atmosphere
• Embrace flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and on-call assignments
