Job Summary:

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking a pulmonary and critical care physician to join a well-established, private practice in the Ocala community.
 
Qualified Candidates:
  • Join a practice of 14 providers - 7 physicians and 7 APPs
  • Practice has been serving the Ocala community and surrounding areas for over 25 years.
  • Board certification / board eligibility in pulmonary and critical care medicine required.
  • Practice has rotation schedule between clinic, pulmonary consult service and ICU coverage to offer work / life balance.
    • Block Scheduling
  • Practice has APPs that assist with physicians with consults in the hospital.
  • Practice offers following procedures:
    • Pleural (thoracentesis, thoracostomy, IPC)
    • Chest fluoroscopy
    • Bronchoscopy - conventional, navigational, robotic, radial ultrasound & EBUS
  • Practice has sleep lab capabilities.
  • Lung function testing and cardio pulm testing available at the practice.
  • Incoming provider will be part of teaching faculty with existing residency programs at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital. In addition, opportunity for potential future pulmonary and critical care fellowship involvement could be available too.
  • The ideal candidate is expected to be able to start in 2027, though start date is negotiable.
