Pulmonology - General/Sleep Physician

Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network, in Central New York, is seeking a BC/BE physician to join its existing group of Pulmonologists/Sleep Physicians. 

• Salary Range: $328,067 – $410,000
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $100,000
• Location: Cooperstown, NY

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Join an established team of 5 Pulmonologists, 5 Intensivists, and 3 Sleep physicians, 4 Advance Practice Clinicians, 4 dedicated outpatient Respiratory Therapists and 1 Nurse Specialist
• Clinical time will be split between pulmonary and sleep medicine
• This role entails inpatient pulmonary consultations, outpatient clinic, pulmonary procedures and interpretation of sleep studies
• Resident and Medical Student supervision and teaching
• Weekly multidisciplinary clinic-radiologic conference 
• Bronchoscopy with EBUS, Point of care Ultrasound
• AASM certified Sleep Center
• Collaboration with ENT for hypoglossal nerve stimulator therapy
• Collaboration with Interventional radiology and Thoracic surgery for procedures
• Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
• Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons

Requirements

• MD, DO or MBBS
• BC/BE
• Completion of an accredited USA Pulmonology residency program
• NYS Licensure (or eligibilty to obtain)
• BLS Certification Required
• DEA Required

• Salary Range: $328,067 – $410,000.
• • This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $100,000
• Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap.  Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
