Help modernize construction through technology-enabled service. As our Pump, Power & Climate Control Systems Technician, you’ll maintain and repair a wide range of rental and customer-owned equipment while leveraging our T3 platform to keep projects moving.
Role Snapshot
- Location: Advanced Solutions rental facility, West Palm Beach, FL
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; overtime after 40 hours; on-call rotation with added compensation
- Focus: Field and shop service for generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution, HVAC, oil-free air compressors, and pumps
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair power and HVAC assets using data insights from laptops/tablets and the T3 platform.
- Create/assign work orders, track service intervals, and expedite parts ordering.
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs at customer sites and in the shop.
- Set up and operate equipment on job sites; collaborate with other technicians on complex tasks.
- Complete daily electronic documentation of all work; support equipment/parts pick-up and delivery.
- Promote a safe work environment and familiarity with OSHA guidelines.
- Mentor junior techs; participate in ongoing OEM training year-round.
What You Bring
- Personal tool set suitable for the role
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and proficiency with common/service tools
- Experience with generators and/or commercial HVAC—inspection, maintenance, and repair
- Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements; read and interpret schematics
- Strong customer focus, teamwork orientation, and clear written/verbal communication
- EPA 608 certification preferred; or willingness to earn within 6–12 months
Credentials
- High school diploma required; trade school certificate preferred
- Field service, maintenance, and repair experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; 21+ to drive a company vehicle
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- May need to be clean shaven to access certain customer worksites
